Welcome to Devon Diversity Consultants. We are a diverse group of local trainers, facilitators and consultants with over 40 years combined experience in supporting organisations with their equality and diversity need. Together we can come to your organisation or group and help you move forward and respond to the changing local climate.
DDC was set up by Sandhya Dave, Ghee Bowman and Dave Samuels in 2020 in response to the #BlackLivesMatter movement, bringing together three practitioners with a wealth of experience in equality and diversity, education and history.

I have been working with DDE on events for Windrush Day and Black History Month. They have strong connections with communities and can draw on this rich network of contacts for events which are always well organised and highly enjoyable – even online. They are able to explore more difficult subjects, such as systemic racism and slavery, in a non-confrontational and informative way. I felt overwhelmed by the frustration and anger of the rising Black Lives Matter movement and I engaged Sandhya Dave, DDE Cultural Champions Co-ordinator, as a mentor to help me explore the challenges on a deeper level, test my understanding and response, and find confidence and resilience to support the movement from ‘within the system’. Sandhya is also working with the County Council on a Race Equality Audit between January and July 2021 and I know she will be a great asset to the audit team."
